Day 15 : The Things You See Only When You Slow Down
After the exertions of the past few days, I crawled through the first day of the new year almost in a daze. I took the opportunity to Reiki myself and detoxed almost instantaneously. I could feel my body more now. The aches were catching up. I could feel my emotions more too. It was the New Moon, no wonder. Super tired, super sore, super pensive.
We decided to make the 20-minutes trek to the food forest as we knew Nature always helps to refresh tired spirits. It started to pour, and we were all stuck drenched and cold again in the treehouse. Yet as I meditated to the pitter patter of the falling rain, breathing in the crisp freshness of the forest, feeling my body as it once again connected to Mother Earth, there was a sense that everything is in perfect rhythm.
The trees will continue to grow come rain or shine. The ants will continue to do ant things. The rain will stop in a moment. The sun and the moon will always take their place in the sky at the opportune time.
Today it was my time to slow down and I had no need to hurry anything. Because everything is in perfection.
