The Art Of Being

Overview
Life often feels like a race from one moment to the next.
We are constantly thinking about what has happened, or what comes next, rarely noticing the life that is quietly unfolding right here.
The Art of Being is a gentle, half-day practice of presence where there is nothing to achieve and nowhere to get to. Through simple mindfulness, intuitive movement, sound, and quiet making, we create space to soften, listen, and arrive — just as we are. You don’t need prior experience, a certain mindset, or a 'better' version of yourself. This is an invitation to slow down, rest in presence, and reconnect with what feels true for you, in a small, held space that honors your own rhythm.
About The Session
The Art of Being (TAOB) is a 4-hour experiential workshop that invites you to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and rediscover the richness hidden within ordinary moments.
This isn't a lecture.
It isn't therapy.
It isn't about learning another self-improvement technique.
This is not a workshop to fix or improve yourself.
It is about experiencing for yourself what it feels like to truly be present.
There is no prior experience needed, no expectation to share, and no right way to participate. You are welcome exactly as you are.
Held in a small, supportive group, this half-day offers a pause from doing — a chance to return to yourself gently, without effort.
What You Will Experience
Unlike a typical workshop where you sit and listen, TAOB is intentionally experiential.
Throughout the morning, you will be gently guided through a carefully curated journey of simple yet meaningful experiences, including :
• Mindfulness practices you can bring into everyday life
• A mindful tea break that becomes an exploration of awareness
• Gentle movement and embodied presence
• Authentic conversations that go beyond small talk
• Creative and sensory activities that awaken curiosity
• Quiet moments of reflection and self-discovery
• Group experiences that remind us we are not alone
Every activity is simple, accessible and designed to help you experience presence rather than merely understand it intellectually.
What You Will Leave With
By the end of the workshop, you may find yourself leaving with :
• a quieter and calmer mind
• practical mindfulness practices that fit naturally into daily life
• renewed appreciation for ordinary moments
• deeper connection with themselves and others
• a sense of spaciousness and joy that often gets lost in the busyness of life
The intention isn't to escape life.
It's to discover that peace and wonder have been quietly waiting within everyday life all along.
